QA Manager

The Judge Group is currently seeking a highly-motivated Quality Assurance Manager for a privately-held food manufacturing company in central Washington. This position will be responsible for daily execution of food safety and quality processes and procedures to ensure company, customer, and regulatory guidelines at the plant level while assisting with micro lab and quality systems as needed while overseeing a team of 12 in the quality department including 3 salaried reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

?Monitor HACCP, GMP?s, SSOP, EV, FDA, and USDA guidelines to ensure compliance

?Provide required documentation to ensure accuracy of customer requests

?Conduct internal and external audits as required

?Train, lead, and coach direct reports within the QA department

?Investigate complaints and come up with resolutions

?Utilize SPC to improve quality processes

?Oversee 2 QA Supervisors and 1 Lab Supervisor

?Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions as needed

?Support corporate QA initiatives

?Write and provide detailed reports analyzing QA, Food Safety, and QC

?Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

?BS Degree is REQUIRED in Food Science, Biology, or related field

?5+ years quality management experience in a food or beverage manufacturing plant

?Must have 3+ years of experience overseeing salaried associates and managing quality systems at the plant level

?Lead and conduct internal & external audits as required

?Ensure GFSI & SQF compliance

?Create and develop quality processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste

?HACCP certification, SQF Practitioner certification, and PCQI for FSMA all strongly desired

?Strong leadership skills with ability to thrive in a high-speed environment, non-union experience desired

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
