 The Charge Nurse Stepdown Unit will be responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager Progressive Care Unit in developing departmental goals and objectives. They will be responsible for managing staff and providing both leadership and mentorship to nurses within the PCU department. Furthermore, the Charge Nurse Stepdown Unit will provide patient care as it is needed.


The Charge Nurse Stepdown Unit will report directly to the Nurse Manager Intermediate Care Unit and Nurse Director Progressive Care Unit. Together, they will work together and collaborate on ways to improve best practice and deliver high quality care to the patient population.
