A growing food company located in Ephrata, WA is currently searching for a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager for this plant will be tasked with developing and directing implementation of plans and/or programs to insure the most effective utilization of human capital to support business strategy and objectives. These endeavors must be accomplished within the frame work of the organization's overall group and corporate policies, plans, and programs. The HR Manager can expect to receive support and direction from HR function leaders. The successful candidate will be expected and accountable to lead by example regarding company core values, management techniques, business focus, while demonstrating bias for action. Additional key expectations include coaching and mentoring facility management on their leadership styles and effective techniques application of company policies and procedures. Providing guidance on compliance issues is another key aspect of the role. We are seeking a champion for change management and six sigma efforts within facility, ensuring management and employees are trained and aligned with group and company expectations. The HR manager is responsible for HR data accuracy and analysis, to ensure that business decisions are made with accurate information from the HRIS system. Employee and labor relations skills and a proven track record of successful union negotiation experience is a requirement for the successful candidate.
You MUST have been involved in Plant Labor Relations and sat SECOND chair or better

Salary range for this position is $75-95 depending on years of experience

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field from an accredited 4 - year college or university required;
-5
years related experience and/or training, with at least 3 years of previous management or supervisory experience. Manufacturing experience highly desired.
-Union Plant labor relations experience is a MUST
-PHR, SPHR, or other HR-related certification preferred.
-Ability to provide stand-up training as well as one-on-one or small group training/coaching.
-Ability to handle stressful and negative situations in a manner that creates positive resolution.
-Strategic planning and short-term organizational skills.
-Ability to coordinate multiple needs, priorities, and customers, exhibit a variety of styles and methods to meet customer needs.
-Ability to exhibit strong initiative with the ability to work with minimal direction.
-Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not required.
-Ability to travel up to 20%
