Product Quality Supervisor

A growing food company located in Warden, WA is currently searching for a Product Quality Supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring that all product that is produced meets quality standards and customer specifications by continuous monitoring of the finished product on all lines and executing the appropriate processing standards to achieve those quality standards. This supervisor supervises and coordinates on an assigned shift the activities of the facility to meet operational goals, specifically, but not limited to product quality, sanitation, food safety, employee safety along with any other customer or facility requirements. Leadership, delegation, coaching and subordinate development are key ingredients to the success of the Product Quality Supervisors. The Product Quality supervisor assists in auditing the facility for Quality and Production processes and ensures Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans are current, relevant, and executed effectively to prevent unsafe conditions and adulteration of product. This position also will assist the Shift Managers to manage and coordinate the activities of the facility to meet all other operational goals which includes quality, sanitation, food safety, employee safety along with budgeted volumes and controllables. In addition, the incumbents must closely monitor internal information gathering and communications systems to evaluate performance of the facility and team members.
Any certifications such as HACCP, SQF, BRC, Six Sigma, or Lean are a huge plus for this person.

Salary range for this position is $55-65k

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college or university in Business, Agriculture, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years' experience in a high speed food processing, high speed bottling or high speed packaging plant . Must have 1-2 years previous experience supervising in a large, complex plant environment
- Certifications such as HACCP, SQF, BRC, Six Sigma, or Lean are a huge plus
- Must have leadership qualities and be very meticulous to quality, sanitation and food safety
- Must be able to develop, train, and coach staff
- Must have a heavy focus on safety and environmental management
- Must be able to walk 10-12 miles a day while in the plant
- Must be open to shift which may include nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
- Must be open to extra time, no clock punchers in this plant

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
